Discover The Harp at Bishton Hall

Discover The Harp at Bishton Hall is a three-hour beginner harp workshop led by Cambrian Harp School’s Musical Director, Helen-Elizabeth. The course is designed for complete beginners, with no previous musical experience required, and gives visitors the chance to learn the basics of harp playing in the setting of Bishton Hall in Staffordshire.

The session includes a hands-on harp lesson, a Discovery 16 harp handmade in Wales to take home, a tuning key and course book in PDF format. By the end of the morning, attendees will work towards the ISoM Step 1 Harp qualification and learn simple rounds, popular classics and traditional tunes. The course is suitable for ages 16 and above, while under-16s with musical experience may attend with adult supervision.
