Pepe’s Piri Piri seeks permission to open until 3am

Pepe’s Piri Piri in Stafford has applied for permission to remain open until 3am every day.

The Stone Road restaurant currently lists its customer opening hours as 11am to midnight from Monday to Sunday.

However, KOA Stafford Ltd has submitted an application to Stafford Borough Council seeking licensed opening hours from 11am until 3am seven days a week.

If approved and fully used, the restaurant would be able to remain open three hours later than its currently advertised closing time.

What the application includes

The application seeks permission for recorded music and late-night refreshments both indoors and outdoors.

The proposed hours for these activities are also listed as 11am until 3am from Monday to Sunday.

Premises licence hours set out when certain licensed activities are legally permitted.

Approval would not necessarily mean the business would remain open until 3am every night.

Public representations

The application has not yet been approved.
Residents, businesses and other interested parties can submit representations when they believe a proposal could affect one or more of the four licensing objectives.

These cover:

• The prevention of crime and disorder
• Public safety
• The prevention of public nuisance
• The protection of children from harm

Representations must relate to licensing matters and should be submitted in writing to Stafford Borough Council before the deadline shown on the application notice.

The deadline for representations is 5pm on Tuesday 25 August 2026.
