More than £10 million is set to be invested at Rodbaston College as part of a major funding boost for further education across Staffordshire.
South Staffordshire College has secured £15 million in government funding for improvements across its Rodbaston, Lichfield and Cannock campuses.
The Rodbaston campus, near Penkridge, will receive the largest share, with the money used to increase teaching capacity, improve learning support facilities and create a new Civil Engineering Centre.

The new Civil Engineering Centre will provide additional training opportunities for 16 to 18-year-olds, adults and apprentices.
Staffordshire County Council says the facility will help meet demand for specialist skills across the county.
The wider investment forms part of the Department for Education’s Post-16 Capacity Fund, which is intended to help colleges expand and improve facilities as demand for places increases.
Rodbaston is one of South Staffordshire College’s main campuses and provides a range of further education and practical training courses.

£34m investment across Staffordshire
Across Staffordshire, more than £34 million has been allocated to colleges through the latest funding announcement.
Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group has secured £6.8 million towards a £13 million extension at its Knutton Lane campus in Newcastle-under-Lyme, while Burton and South Derbyshire College has received £4.9 million for a new engineering facility.
Stoke-on-Trent College has also secured £6 million for improvements to facilities supporting training for high-demand industries.
Robin Hall, Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, said the investment would give more young people access to modern facilities while helping businesses find workers with the skills they need.
The county council said it will continue working with education providers to assess demand for post-16 places and identify where further investment may be needed.
