A total of 503 babies were born across University Hospitals of North Midlands during July 2026.
Figures shared by UHNM show that 257 girls and 246 boys were born during the month.
The busiest day was Wednesday 8 July, when 22 babies were born.
Six sets of twins born
The trust recorded six sets of twins during July, while the heaviest baby born weighed 11lb.
There were also nine water births during the month and no home births.
UHNM’s figures also show that 63% of babies received breastmilk.
More than 600 new pregnancy bookings
During July, UHNM recorded 616 new pregnancy bookings.
The trust also published a breakdown of different types of birth, including vaginal births, forceps deliveries, ventouse births and caesarean sections.
UHNM ended its update with a message remembering babies lost during pregnancy and those born sleeping.
