Stafford Library will not be open to everyone on Sundays when new Sunday self-access hours begin next month.
From Sunday 16 August, the library will be available from 1pm to 4pm, but only for people who have registered for the self-access scheme.
Anyone who has not signed up for the scheme will not be able to use Stafford Library on Sundays.
Who can use the library on Sundays?
Sunday access will be limited to registered self-access members.
The scheme is available to library members aged 16 and over. Before using the library during self-access hours, members must register for the service and complete a short induction.

What is self-access?
Self-access allows registered members to use Stafford Library outside normal staffed opening hours.
Members can borrow books, use public computers, print documents and use the library as a quiet space.
Staffordshire County Council previously said the scheme had almost 300 members after it was extended into weekday evenings earlier this year.
The weekday self-access hours are 8am to 10am and 5.15pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday.
From 16 August, Sundays from 1pm to 4pm will also be included.
Safety arrangements
Staffordshire County Council says Stafford Library has CCTV monitoring during self-access hours.
Security staff are also present at Staffordshire Place, and a dedicated phone line is available inside the library for emergencies.
