Trespass in Stafford town centre is set to close temporarily for refurbishment work.

The outdoor clothing and equipment store, based in the town centre, is expected to close on Saturday 31 August 2026.

It is believed the shop will be closed for around three weeks while the work is carried out.

A member of staff reassured Stafford Bulletin that the closure is only temporary and that the store is expected to reopen after the refurbishment.

The work is expected to include replacing the flooring and fixing the lighting inside the store.

At the moment, there is a visible amount of hazard tape on the shop floor and a number of lights inside the store appear to not be working.

Due to the scale of the refurbishment and limited stock space, the store is clearing stock before the temporary closure.

The planned work means the Stafford store should reopen with improvements to the shop floor and lighting.
